I was born in Asturias, by the sea in Gijón. I was an only child. As a child I was an avid reader.
I studied law at the University of Oviedo, like my father. There, I had the great fortune of having magnificent professors. Since then, law has been a very important part of my life. As I could not go to Bologna because I was a woman, I decided not to pursue a university degree, my first vocation, and to take a competitive examination to become a notary.
